Overcoming widespread devastation from a recent tornado, opposition from their husbands, and attacks from the Religious Righteous, the No Guilt Quilters join forces to build a cultural center on the Plains. Led by Angelina, Traci, and Gayle, who tell the story, and inspired by their foremothers who build fifty-nine Carnegie libraries in Kansas a century ago, the women forge ahead to create a space that is both safe and inspiring — proving that New Hope is more than the name of a town.
