Professor George E. Feversham, the founder of Feversham’s Academy of Young Women’s Correctional Education, has a reputation for reforming troubled young women of the lower classes, and his treatments for praefocatio matricis—female hysteria—are renowned in scientific circles. Fathers from all over Europe bring their gently-born daughters to him knowing that they will be in the very best—and most discreet—of hands.

This collection includes the first four stories of the Professor Feversham’s Academy series: Hysteria, Correction, Paroxysm, and Discipline.
