A close look at the Irish theater world is presented in this extraordinary story of Edward and Christine Longford and their association with the Dublin Gate Theatre and the acting/producing duo of Micheal Mac Liammoir and Hilton Edwards, as well as with their own theater company, Longford Productions, which presented plays for twenty-five years and achieved success in Dublin, London and Irish country towns.
